Hi,

I’m Kevin Pladna, the owner of KP Woodworks. I got my start in woodworking back in 2019, while still in the Navy, I decided to build my own dining table in a friend’s shop to save a little money. That one project sparked something bigger—I became hooked on the process, the tools, and the satisfaction of building things the right way.

Life took me in a different direction for a while. After leaving the Navy, I focused on becoming a firefighter and paramedic. But even during that time, I kept coming back to working with my hands. Eventually, I found my way into custom cabinetry—and that’s where everything clicked.

After four years in the fire service, I made the decision to take a leap and bet on myself. I left my career to start KP Woodworks out of a single-car garage, driven by a passion to build, grow, and create something of my own.

Today, I focus on custom cabinetry and built-ins, with an emphasis on clean design, quality craftsmanship, and strong communication throughout every project.
